Night trip to Laussane

Last Friday, we had an afterwork trip to Lausanne to watch a concert. I have been to Laussane before but this will be the first time to go there during night time. I was with ILO interns from Norway, Belgium and Poland. Luckily, the official language for the night was English. I hesitated at first as I worried about the fare costs but realized that with my Gleis 7 card, the trip would be for free.

We watched a concert in Lausanne of a certain Swiss-German female singer whose name I forgot. Tickets cost Fr 15 but we had some trouble securing seats. Good thing we have someone who can speak French and we were able to negotiate.

The concert was ok except for one reason - the venue is full of smokers! Everything would have been perfect except for that. I can't really stand smokers for a long time as I do have rhinitis. And that's one thing I need to adjust in Switzerland, that if you enter a bar, it is a given that you will suffer some kind of suffocation with smokers all around you. It's also recommendable to go on bars/confined places of congregation the day before your laundry day, as your clothes would be soaked in tar and thick smoke and would smell like rubbish afterwards.

That's funny, was the concert in English? Or maybe was just that performer?

Wait a minute, isn't it illegal to take photographs/videos of live concerts? lol
